If you are, Shergroup’s Recruitment consultants would love to talk to you. You are part of a growing number of employers who are seeing the benefit of offering your workforce the opportunity to work when it suits them, as well as fulfilling your business needs. The good news is you are not alone. Only this week an article in the UK’s Daily Telegraph outlined all the different ways that employers can offer flexibility (see http://bit.ly/30vdlF9).
In the article it mentioned that 9 out of 10 Brits would like flexible working but only 11% of jobs currently paying over £20,000 per annum actually provide some form of flexible working.
As a company that supports #smartworking, we want to join like-minded employers and employees to fulfil job roles which allow for greater flexibility. It is the future of work for many roles, and we want to help people connect.
Shergroup’s own innovation in the workplace has included offering remote working as a standard for employees in the UK, US and India, outsourcing admin and finance functions offshore, and developing online resources to be able to assist customers outside of normal hours of work. And as technology improves so does our ability to help our customers and our teams deliver services outside of the normal 9 to 5.
Perhaps you are doing the same in your organisation and if so we would love to hear from you. Traditionally we spend 40 years of our lives in work. In the future this figure is only going to increase as we live longer and need to sustain lives which need more income than a pension will provide. There is a need to continue to re-think the traditional approach to work and help more people achieve their working life of choice.
If any of this blog post strikes a chord please get in touch and register your interest as a like-minded employer.
